Filipino actor Piolo Pascual is very excited of the upcoming Cobra Ironman 70.3 Philippines that will be held on August 22, 2010 in Camarines Sur, Philippines.

Based on a celebrity news website report, Piolo Pascual is currently in the U.S. for their concert tour called “Heartthrobs Concert Tour” together with fellow celebrity hunk, Sam Milby with special participation of Bea Alonzo and Pokwang.

Meanwhile, the Piolo mentioned that he is excited of going back to the country after their concert tour and will be preparing for the training in the upcoming Ironman Triathlon contest.

“Since Timex is the organizer and being the image model of the brand for the last eight years, I’d like to be part of it as well. Besides I’ve always wanted to do a triathlon especially after participating in several running events”

, the actor said in an interview.

“I’m training with a coach. Mayroon na akong ilang initial sessions sa pool then I’m also fixing my tri-bike. Running naman, I’ve been training since last year. So ‘yung bike and swimming ang pagtutuunan ko ng pansin ngayon. Sa totoo lang sa swimming ako nahihirapan kasi iba talaga ang technique nun sa breathing. Tsaka hindi naman ako swimmer, e. I used to swim pero iba ‘yong technique, iba ‘yong form niya. Sa bike and run, they go hand-in-hand kaya mas madali para sa akin,”

he added.

The prestigious Ironman 70.3 Philippines competition is renowned worldwide and currently, Cobra will be sponsoring the said event.
