In the upcoming showdown of Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao with Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto on November 14 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, three artists will sing the country’s national anthem. Manny confirmed that the pop girl group “La Diva” will sing the Lupang Hinirang.

The pop girl group called “La Diva” is composed of Jonaly Viray, Aicelle Santos and Maricris Garcia, who are winners of a singing contest “Pinoy Pop Superstar.” Viray is the 1st grand champion of the singing contest, Garcia is the 3rd Pinoy Pop Superstar Champion and Santos, on the other hand was a runner up in the second season.

To avoid any controversy, La Diva will sing the national anthem according to what the law prescribes.
